Under this sub-category, internationally-trained health professionals, who have been working in Saskatchewan for at least six months under a temporary work permit, can apply for nomination by the SINP.
Applicants to the SINP Health Profession sub-category must already be working full-time in Saskatchewan as a physician, nurse or other health professional on a temporary work permit for at least six months in order to apply.

Physicians: Contact the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CoPSS).
Nurses: Contact the appropriate nursing licensing body: Saskatchewan Association of Licensed Practical Nurses (SALPN), Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS) or Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association (SRNA).

The SINP will obtain a letter of support from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CoPSS). The CoPSS must state your type of license and expiry date, and state their support for you to obtain permanent residence status in Saskatchewan. If applicable, you will also require a letter from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada indicating that you have licensing in a particular specialty.
